Description

The project included the requirement to deliver 3 fully operational data halls together with the associated power and cooling infrastructure and dedicated client and customer office spaces to provide an IT load capacity of 7MW within a purpose built landlord based build shell and core building. The works also included the incorporation of bespoke fit-out requirements to accommodate an end user customer who would be occupying the data halls.

Key Project Features

A challenging project which involved working to a tight project programme to align with the end user customer's RFS requirements, mains power to the site experiencing complications and the vast majority of the works having to be delivered during COVID-19 restrictions.

Evaluation Added Value

Evaluation provided a consistent and dedicated team working indefatigably with the client and contractor to deliver this project in the face of numerous issues which created time, budget and risk challenges for the client, in particular COVID-19 working restrictions. The team managed, co-ordinated and challenged the contractor to maintain progress and mitigate cost and programme risk throughout the project period. The final account was agreed within the project budget.
